De Mille, Agnes
(1905-1993) Де Милль, Агнес
Балерина и хореограф. Первой поставила танцы на американскую народную музыку. Поставленный ею балет "Родео" (1942) передавал вольный дух Запада [West]. Свои хореографические идеи развила в ряде других балетных постановок: "Оклахома" ["Oklahoma"] (1943), "Карусель" ["Carousel"] (1945) и др.
